We are asking companies and individuals for donations to support our action.
Project's aims
Homage to victims of all military conflicts, those that happened and the ones that are just taking place
Integration of organizations and individuals from different countries working for the World Peace and lowering the scale of wars and violence.
Creating attitudes Citizen of the World, awakening the sense of common responsibility for our Planet.
Popularization in Poland KITARO's music and message, acting to rise the level of cultural awareness, preparing people to perception works of high culture.
World promotion of great Polish artists: Józef Skrzek as well as Zbigniew Krzywaski and Jacek Bończyk.
Events
I.
International Conference on the subject of World Peace and threats to our Planet that are results of people's actions.
It is to be participated by personalities representing different fields, artists who dedicated their work to the idea of World Peace, also personalities recognized as moral authorities of our times.
II.
Magnificent concert of KITARO legendary Japanese instrumentalist, world renowned composer, whose compositions are considered classic of majestic space music with message of peace and love.
Thre will also perform great Polish artists: Józef Skrzek and also Zbigniew Krzywański and Jacek Bończyk
The concert is to be performed in open air, the stage will be placed on a platform specially constructed on the river. Publicity is to be gathered on the shore. The event is to have big international dimension, expected are even a hundred thousand people form all over the world.
The place is fabulous.
View of the Old Town of Toruń on one bank and wildly looking green on the other are to give breathtaking experience.
Connected with heavenly music coming from the middle of the Vistula river will leave participants with deep, unforgetten feeling of Gift of Peace, Beauty and Unity with all People in the World.
III.
Ceremony of giving awards of MY MUSIC FOR PEACE to musicians, whose work is dedicated to the world peace and that is recognized as message of peace and tolerance.
The first awards are to be given to Kitaro and Józef Skrzek.
This ceremony is to be continued the following years.
There is still no special prize for music dedicated to peace.
There is also a need for manifesting the power of music to influence people's awareness and to shift it to more peaceful mood – in every area of life.
The event is to have big international meaning, as it is to happen on the 65 th anniversary of tragedy, that concerns all citizens of our planet. Nuclear attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki are horrible symbol of our times, are the point in which human race has understood that the Earth is not a safe place anymore, because of threats resulting from human's attitude.
In spite of words of politicians who go on talking about peace, there is also more and more violence in the world and new conflicts begin before the previous ones finish.
