Józef Skrzek in Toruń Poland 6-8 June 2009. 20 th anniversary of the 1 st democratic elections, 10 th anniversary of John Paul II visit in Toruń and Bydgoszcz

The visit of Józef Skrzek in Toruń opens the Project "My Music for Peace" a cycle of concerts of well known artists from Poland and other countries. One of them is a great Japanese musician KITARO.

Kitaro and Józef Skrzek are to perform on an international ceremony commemorating the 70 the Anniversary of the II World War outbreak and the 20 th anniversary of communism collapse on 1st September 2009 at Westerplatte. It is the project of musical arrangement our foundation has introduced to Polish Government that is to be the Organizer of the event.

The Project "Westerplatte 2009" is supported by such great personalities:
- Radosław Sikorski - Minister of Foreign Affairs
- Professor Władysław Bartoszewski - the Secretary of State in the Prime Minister's Office Since November 2007 Wladyslaw Bartoszewski is the Secretary of State in the Prime Minister's Office. He is the holder of many Polish and international awards, among them the highest Polish distinction the Order of the White Eagle as well as the honourary citizenship of Israel and the medal of the Righteous Among the Nations, granted to him in 1966 by the Yad Vashem institute in Jerusalem.
