The event was co-funded by the City of Gdansk
The artist has made unique arrangement of works by Polish composer Witold Lutoslawski on the 9 stringed electric violin. Particularly interesting are jazz interpretations of songs composed by Lutosławski on one instrument and vocals, with the score for an orchestra written out. Arrangements made by Steve Kindler is a creative, revolutionary extrapolation of Lutosławski?s works ,becoming a worthy contribution to the popularization of traditions and cultural heritage.
It was also a big privilege both for our foundation and for Steve Kindler to honor this great composer in the ?Year of Lutosławski ? established in Poland in 2013, because of the 100th anniversary of his birth.
