August the 6th at. 20:15 we invite you to a screening of the concert, "Kitaro Live in Yakushiji"

Taking place within the program of the BORYNA Foundation called "My Music for Peace".
On 6th August, the first edition of the PEACEWOOD Festival was to be held. Unfortunately, due to insufficient funds the festival was postponed for next year.
We have chosen the date of the Festival not accidentally: August the 6th, 1945 two Japanese cities, Hiroshima and Nagasaki were attacked by nuclear weapons.
The slide show of famous Japanese artist- Kitaro-will be a tribute to the victims of this aggression.
Annihilation of two Japanese cities is not only a national tragedy for Japan.
It is above all an ominous symbol of our time, a turning point, in which citizens of all countries realized that the Earth is no longer a safe place.
The modern, civilized man who has repeatedly exceeded the limits of humanity, not drawing back from any genocide, having considered it a way to win the war, additionally has in possession technology that could bring the extermination of the planet and deals with it in such an irresponsible way.

Nuclear disasters at Chernobyl, at Fukushima, as well as those ones not mentioned aloud, are tragic and very significant sign that the world has really got in the shadow of the atom.
Therefore, on 6th August we are going to pay tribute to victims of all wars and all kinds of violence and victims of nuclear disasters.
The "My Music for Peace" brings together people from around the world through music.
Its mission is to "heal the world" from illnesses of war and violence,
at the same time to take action for peace by organizing various events with music carrying a message of harmonious and safe coexistence of all people, all beings.
